Kia Sportage Concept is One Happy Looking Design Study


Ever since Kia placed German automobile designer Peter Schreyer at the helm of its design division in 2006, the Korean automaker's products have gone from good to better, as far as styling is concerned (mpg's, not so much…). 

Design, however, is a process that constantly evolves and is always in need of some fresh input, so it's actually great to see independent stylists applying their personal touch on an automaker's products.

New Range-Topping Kia Sportage KX-4 with a More Powerful Diesel Engine for the UK


When automakers announce a new top-of-the-range edition of one of their current models, it usually translates to added equipment and perhaps some new features but nothing much else.

In the case of the new UK market Kia Sportage KX-4, however, alongside the more improved level of specification, the South Korean automaker has also added a higher output turbodiesel engine.

Kia Builds 1 Millionth Vehicle at its Slovakian Plant


The 1 millionth vehicle rolled off the assembly line at Kia's Zilina plant in Slovakia just a little over five years since the factory opened, marking a significant landmark for the South Korean automaker.

The milestone model was a white, diesel-engined Cee’d SW that was handed over to a Slovakian children’s charity called the Red Nose Clowndoctors (no connection with Adult Swim's Children's Hospital…).
