The Mustang Giugiaro Concept was based on the original Mustang model.
Developed by Fabrizio Giugiaro, the style director of Italdesign Giugiaro.
Under the hood, the Giugiaro Concept was equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 engine
coupled to a twin-screw supercharger which allowed it to generate
over 500 horsepower, more power than the Mustang GT.
The interior and the exterior new design had hints of European influence.
The final concept model was 80 mm wider at the rear end and
30 mm wider at the front end compared to the original Mustang.
The most striking feature of the Mustang Giugiaro concept was the single panel
that was supposed to act as the roof as well as the windshield.
This glass panel was built using a particular crystal which has a peculiar property of
filtering UV rays and allowing only unpolarized light to enter cabin.
The Mustang Giugiaro also featured reverse cameras on both touch-operated doors.
