The fuel-injected Series 5 2-door coupe was introduced in 1986. 
Series 5 was the most powerful V8 among the Aston Martins of the late 80s.
Engine: 5,340 cc V8 providing 380 hp. 
Acceleration 0–60 mph: 5.2 seconds
Top speed: 168 mph
Only 405 Series 5 cars were built before production ceased in 1989.

1999 Aston Martin Vantage V600 Supercharged Le Mans

Aston Martin announced in 1999 the commissioning of a series of 40, 
special named and numbered editions of the V8 Vantage
 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Aston Martin's victories 
at Le Mans and in the World Sports Car Championship. 
604 hp. top speed of 200 mph (or 320 km/h) and 
zero to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. 





















Jaguar Designs a Concept Speedboat to go with its New XF Sportbrake


On the occasion of the international driving debut of its brand new XF Sportbrake that took place only a few weeks before the car arrives in European showrooms, Jaguar unveiled a bespoke speedboat concept to showcase the brand's design DNA on a completely different product as well as to inspire buyers of the estate model.
"We recognise that both our existing and future customers enjoy diverse and active lifestyles," explained Jaguar Director of Design, Ian Callum. "With the launch of the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake, we had an opportunity to create a vision of how our design philosophy might be applied to an alternative product, in which speed and beauty are also priorities."

1969 Bertone Runabout Concept

Unveiled at the '69 Turin Motor Show, the Autobianchi Runabout Concept 
designed by Marcello Gandini of Bertone, took its inspiration from the motorboat world.
Featuring a mid-mounted 128 SOHC engine & gearbox taken from the front wheel drive Fiat 128.
The prototype was a serious proposal at the time and became the bases of the Fiat X 1/9,
 which was launched a couple of years later.
