Volkswagen Type 34 Karmann Ghia (1961-69)

Also known as "the big Karmann", (or Razor Edge Ghia" in the United Kingdom), 
he type 34 had styling done by Italian car design studio Ghia, 
and bodywork by German coach-builder Karmann. 

It was a sports car marketed in both 2+2 coupe (1955–74) 

and convertible (1957–74) body styles by Volkswagen. 
Powered by a 1200cc, 1500cc or 1600cc F4 engine. 
It was the world second car that had sliding steel sunroof operated electrically. 
Until it was replaced by the VW-Porsche 914, it was the most expensive 
and luxurious passenger car VW manufactured in the 1960s 
It was never officially sold in North America.
